Pionerny Airport serves the rotational camp, there is no public transport in it.

The runway of the airport was built in the middle of the forest far from settlements. Commercial flights do not fly here, there are not many passengers here. But thanks to the air gates of Pioneer, people are delivered to the place of work and back promptly and comfortably. And a year and a half ago, the oilmen completed the construction of a new terminal building here, which meets the strict requirements of aviation security. Its operation was transferred to the Strezhevoy Airport Company. We asked the director of this enterprise, Valery Nikolaevich Gaevoy, to tell us about how the Pionerny air gates work today, whether residents of small and remote settlements of Vasyugan can use the services of the airport.

- The airport in the Pionerny shift camp was built to serve the production process associated with oil production and is intended for the transportation of shift workers. It can be said that it is located in the forest, where there is no permanent population within a radius of 70 kilometers. Therefore, commercial flights do not fly to Pionerny, for which advance ticket sales would be open. The airport accepts and releases about 30 aircraft and the same number of helicopters per month. But all flights are custom-made, that is, they are paid for by a specific enterprise - Tomskneft. Therefore, in order to purchase tickets, first of all, you need to contact the representative of the customer. The representative of Tomskneft is located in the building of the Pionerny air terminal. If there is a free seat on the next flight, it will be transferred to our employees, who will sell it. This service is used by 10 to 30 passengers per month. Basically, these are residents of Novy Vasyugan. You can contact a Tomskneft representative at Pionerny Airport by calling 6-53-79. The phone number of our organization is at the same airport: 6-53-78. Planes from Pioneer fly only to Tomsk.

With helicopters, the situation is different. It is not possible to plan such flights far in advance. The flight schedule is flexible and depends on the applications received from organizations. Routes are also unstable, because they are selected according to the requirements of customers. Accordingly, there are no strictly established tariffs for third-party passengers. If you need to take off by helicopter, then again, contact the customer's representative.

We have been operating the terminal building since its opening. This is a capital structure built according to a special project developed by one of the institutes of civil aviation. It meets all existing requirements and has everything you need to work. I think I will not be mistaken if I say that this is one of the modern air terminals of today. Despite the low workload and specificity, in terms of its equipment, the Pionerny air terminal is not inferior to other civilian, including international airports. Everything is as it should be, only on a smaller scale.

There is even a baggage handling line at the airport terminal of the camp. However, we do not use it yet. To do this, it is necessary to create a freight transportation service - to receive people, to buy additional equipment, which requires serious financial costs. But the most important thing is that the aircraft that fly to Pionerny are not equipped with insulated luggage compartments. And therefore we cannot take it under our responsibility. Those are the rules.
Passengers are delivered to the station and from the station to the village in an organized manner, by bus. Before departure, they can sit in a spacious waiting room. They have a food service.

The oilmen, when they built this terminal, did not expect that it would be profitable. We proceeded from considerations of quick and comfortable delivery of people to the place of work and back. The decision to build a station in a rotational camp is undoubtedly the right one. Without it, Pionerny Airport would simply cease to exist.
