Dixon is an airport in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, located 5 kilometers west of the village of Dixon on the island part of the village.
It accepts AN-3, AN-24, AN-26, AN-32, AN-74, Yak-40 and lighter aircraft, as well as helicopters of all types. Classification Number (PCN) RUNWAY 15/R/A/X/T.
The airport serves aircraft operating regular passenger and cargo charter flights, as well as flights to ensure high-latitude expeditions and to protect the state border. It was built in the 1930s, during the period of active development of the northern latitudes.
Since the autumn of 2010, the operation of the airfield runway has been suspended due to its poor condition, which has sharply hampered transport links between the village and other regions. Since December 2010, the airport has started accepting planes again.
Dixon Airport is a branch of the Federal State Enterprise "Airports of Krasnoyarsk Region".
In 2022, the modular airport building burned down in a fire. A new modular terminal has been operating since 2023. The historic building of the old terminal has also been preserved, but is no longer used for its intended purpose.
